The forecast of IMS Research Online Cellular Database is disappointing; the market is expected to decline by as much as 6%. The factors that caused this recession are more than enough, starting with the crisis in the United States and ending with flooding the European and Japanese markets with mobile phones. According to IMS Research Online Cellular Database due to the mortgage and financial crisis, many people in 2008 may experience a lack of cash to carry out the replacement of their old mobile phone or to buy a second one.

  MultiMedia Intelligence reports that in 2007 more than a billion music phones was supplied worldwide.   It seems that Australian designer and goldsmith Peter Aloisson  began to enjoy its activity and immediately after the iPhone Princess Plus decided to rebuild the business communicator Nokia E90. Designer decorated the device by 408 diamonds and white gold of 18 carats. As a result of such "experiments" the price of  communicator flew up to 80000 dollars.  

  It became available the information on the new Sony Ericsson's cell phone of middle level which is known under the code name Emelie. There is no photos of this mobile phone yet. Emelie will use the interface of A200, QVGA display with 262К colors and 2 MP camera without self-focusing will be installed in it. The body will be made of metal. The start price is EUR150—200, which is a little expensive for the device of this class.  It is not yet known when it will be presented to the public and which will be its final commercial name.  

  LG KF510, a slim cell phone with a touchscreen panel, is already available on the market. The Korean company announced the coming launch of the gadget in April on the markets of Europe, Latin America, Middle East, Africa and Asia. The manufacturer believes that the main feature of mobile phone is its color solution made in a gradient. The company produced the handset in three colors: Stardust, Dark Gray and Sunset Red. Besides, the model has a thin metal body, light highlight of buttons and touchscreen panel below the display. The head of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company believes that the users who appreciate style and quality will like KF510.  

  The company High Tech Computer started the sales of the communicator HTC TyTN II in the Indian market. It is necessary to note that this device is working on Windows Mobile 6 Professional. It can offer users 2.8-inch TFT-LCD touchscreen display with a resolution of 240x320 pixels, 3.2 MP camera, VGA camera for video calls, Qualcomm MSM7200 processor with a frequency of 400 MHz, 128 MB of RAM, 256 MB of ROM, Wi - Fi (802.11b/g), the GPS module on SiRF Star III chipset and slot for memory cards microSD. HTC TyTN II will cost the Indian users 814.5 dollars.  

  As we predicted, the American cellular operator T-Mobile has begun the sales of a new cell phone Nokia 3555. It is necessary to remind that the device is made to work in GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and WCDMA (1700 MHz) standards. It can offer users the display with the resolution of 128 x 160 pixels, VGA camera, Bluetooth module with support of A2DP profile and the  slot for memory cards microSD. The battery of 1020 mAh is capable to work up to 3.4 hours in the talk mode and up to 11 days in stand-by mode. At the weight of 96g the sizes of phone are 99x43x20.3mm. On condition that you conclude the contract with the operator the novelty will cost you only 50 dollars.

The author of this jewerly miracle is Peter Aloisson, Australian designer and jeweller. By the way, one Russian businessman became the first customer of Aloisson. He bought this device for 176400 dollars.  

  The company Puretracks announced soon the launch of a new music service called Puretracks Mobile Edition. The new service will allow users to buy songs without copyright protection technology (DRM). The owners of BlackBerry smartphones of Pearl, Curve and 8800 series will be able to use it. In the future, the users of Blackberry smartphones with Wi-Fi module will join them. It is expected that the official launch of a new service will coincide with the start of the CTIA Wireless exhibition and will be made on 1 April.  

  The company Sony Ericsson which presented a little over a month ago his first smartphone based on Windows Mobile, Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1, recently released the additional information on the capabilities of  XPERIA X1. So the built-in digital camera of Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 is able to record a video in MPEG-4, H.263 and H.264 formats. The video resolution can be of 640 x 480 pixels, and in what concerning the video speed it reaches up to 30 shots per second, although, if desired the video speed can be reduced up to 15 shots per second. Also, Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 will be produced with preinstalled local service Google Maps and Java ME.  

  The british mobile operator O2 (the unit of Spanish Telefonica) and Napster conclude an agreement according to which the clients of operator will obtain the access to the music service Napster. It is necessary to remind that the music database of Napster counts more than 5 millions of songs. The download of one song will cost to the clients 2 USD and the download of 5 songs at once - 8,12 USD. The service Napster will be available on more than 30 models of cell phones and the songs for it will be  provided by such labels as Sony BMG Music Entertainment and Bertelsmann AG.  

  The company Samsung surprised once again all its admirers by developing the slimmest photo module for cell phones. The solution is based on 8 MP CMOS matrix, has the ISO range of 100—1600 and the stabilization of image. The module is capable to recognize the human faces and as in the novelties of Canon PowerShot makes the photos after the appearance of smiles on the screen. The sizes of this device (28×15,3×8,5 mm) make it a desired element in construction of ultraslim cell phones, communicators and other mobile devices. The mass production of this novelty will be launched in third quarter of 2008. At the same time we must wait the cell phone based on it.
