According to the iShare company research, about 91% of mobile phone users in Japan are not going to buy the iPhone. The survey was conducted before the iPhone 3G presentation in San Francisco. More than half of those who still plan to buy a phone, are the clients of the Softbank operator – the same which will offer iPhone in the Country of the sun rising. According to iShare, approximately 77.1% of respondents prefer phones with a replaceable battery, while 22.9% was not concerned by this fact. In the survey took part 402 respondents.

When these handsets will be announced - is not known. Fly Mobile announced today the brand new SL 600 model. The phone has a modern design and features some good technical specifications. Although slim and light, at only 81 grams, the slider incorporates a 2MP camera, MicroSD slot, and also Bluetooth and EDGE to support connectivity. Entertainment is assured by a MP3 player, FM Radio and exclusively – the possibility to record or to schedule a record session of the FM music or live broadcastings. The phone is targeted to the UK market and will be available exclusively at Woolworths.

  The Motorola’s crisis is not weakening at all. As it became known just recently, the U.S. Company intends to close the design center in Birmingham, which now provides 120 jobs. It is expected that 50% of the center’s workforce will be reduced and the rest will be moved to new locations. Earlier, Motorola has announced the dismissal of 150 employees of the Research Center.  

  So far, the potential Sony Ericsson buyers could see only the photos of the white prototype C905 slider, which were not too impressive. Now the se4m.com site shows pictures of the black slider version. The phone looks more presentable, but it is evident his thickness.  

  Tomorrow, Sony Ericsson will introduce another middle class device - S302. It is not difficult to guess from the title, the phone has a fairly average camera, which allows making images on the go, but does not care very much about their quality.
