The Japanese operator Willcom, has presented a new mobile phone with a modest index of 9. In the press release it is said, that this is the first phone from the manufacturer equipped with integrated support of all Google services. But the device is interesting more likely because of its uncommon appearance, overall this clamshell reminds a small brick. According  the Japanese concept, exactly in this way an extremely simple phone should look. And the technical characteristics evidently show, that Willcom 9 is really at the beginning of the phone series: QVGA-screen, 1,3 MP digital camera and 24 Mb built in memory. The novelty will be available only to Willcom’s subscribers.

The Spanish Telefonica, which works in the mobile markets of Spain and Britain under the brands Movistar and O2, has declared that almost 300 thousand of subscribers have reserved the iPhone before the beginning of the official sales. Certainly, it does not mean that all 300 thousand will buy it, however the number is impressive, considering, that О2 has sold 8 thousand iPhones of the first generation in the first day of sales in Britain. Just recently, the French Orange has declared that iPhone 3G will appear in France on July, 17th, the 8 Gb version will cost 149 EUR.

Last night, the Apple Company has published on their site a videoclip telling about the iPhone’s functionality. For all the iPhone adepts (and the new ones that will come), this video will describe in details the new version of the device. It is better for the iPhones critics not watch - the roller is rich with phrases like "From the moment of its creation, this phone became the standard of design and ergonomics, having reconsidered the features of a mobile phone".

The FTN Midwest analyst, JoAnne Feeney has expressed her opinion that the new Apple iPhone generation will use the Intel Atom processors. This fact should occur in 2009-2010. Let's notice, that this information has not yet found an official confirmation. However, the use of inexpensive processors with low energy consumption (exactly like Intel Atom is) can bring to the company a significant income of 250 million dollars from 25 million of sold iPhones.
