The designer Tamer Koseli has developed, perhaps the longest and thinnest concept of a mobile phone. The name of the device is NEED. According to the designer, this phone is meant to be used only as a communication device and has no unnecessary functions such as embedded camera and multimedia player. The device has two displays: on one of its sides is posted a touch screen, through which is made all the management, on the other side - an OLED-display. The NEED’s dimensions – 140x20x5 mm. From a point of view, the long screen is convenient to display lot of information that can be viewed without having to scroll (for example, contacts list). But, will someone like the construction, or will the manufacturers be interested in such a decision – remains a question to which only the time will answer.
