ABI Research’s latest forecasts show that 2010 will see flat growth rate of handset sales rather than further falling.
Worldwide handset shipments are expected to fall by at least 8% in this year and ABI Research believes that the market will deliver flat growth in 2010. There will be neither significant growth nor decline in handset sales that would be a good outcome anyway.
Stabilization will first come to North America and Europe, and later to the Asia-Pacific region.
