VimpelCom extends the transition to the "new" number to 15 January 2010 after Ukraine's transition to the new format of the telephone numbering Beeline subscribers can dial numbers "as usual".
In connection with changes in the "National Numbering Plan of Ukraine", which come into force on 14 October, Beeline decided on a smooth transition to the new formats a set of long-distance and international numbers. During the 3 months after the change - until January 15, 2010 - for subscribers of Beeline will run a parallel set of rooms in the old and new formats. There will also be activated by a comprehensive system for alerting users about a new set of rules.
According to marketing director Anton Volodkin Beeline, "it is necessary to ensure that subscribers of the company did not feel any inconvenience in the transition of Ukraine to the new format of phone numbers, and were briefed on all the time how to set."
