Wentto Pearl bar mobile phone features a 2-megapixel camera and 2 SIM card slots. This mobile device can work with both SIM cards at once as well as with any of them according to the mode selected in the respective menu.
The mobile phone has glossy surfaces that are quite fingerprint resistant. Several buttons and a microSD slot cover are integrated in a white framing that rims the phone. Another design feature is represented by a hidden-until-lit display that is invisible when turned off and your reflection is all you can see on the frontside of Wentto Pearl until you press any key.
Menu and Functions of Wentto Pearl
The mobile phone has a standard menu and you won’t feel uncomfortable while navigating it.
You may have up to 1000 contacts in the phonebook specifying the name of a person, company name, home phone number, email address, office phone, fax number, and birthday date. You can also upload a photo/picture, ringtone melody that associates with a contact, or add the latter to one of the caller groups.
Wentto Pearl has software calculating the cost of the last conversation or all conversations altogether – all you have to do to make use of this function is to set the price of a one minute conversation. The mobile phone features SMS and GPRS data counters as well.
As for the audio features, the handset has a quite powerful speaker and 8 equalizer presets: Normal, Bass, Dance, Classical, Treble, Party, Pop, and Rock. The built-in MP3 player can be operated through the dedicated “back”, “pause/play” and “forward” buttons on the right side of the device. Music lovers will highly appreciate Advanced Audio Distribution (A2DP) Bluetooth profile allowing the use of wireless headsets. Wentto Pearl also combines a sound recorder supporting AMR and WAV file formats, and FM radio.
Organizer functions are limited to the most common set of things, such as a calendar, task manager, alarm, and world clock. The Wentto Pearl mobile phone has several profiles, including those for noisy streets and quiet home. There is also a calculator, weight and length unit converters, function of determining BMI for men and women (the latter are so dear to the manufacturer that it has provided ladies with a menstrual cycle diary application), and the following games to pass the time:
• a game of adjoining bricks of the same colour in two moves;
• mosaic;
• a Tetris-like game.
Camera
Wentto Pearl is equipped with a 2-megapixel camera with a light sensor shooting in low, normal, and high quality modes with the maximum photo size of 640x480 pixels. Other available sizes are 240x320, 320x240, 160x120, and 80x60 pixels.
The camera has such functions as smoothing, manual exposure setting in the range of values from -4 to +4, monitor/TV picture shooting mode (you select either 50 or 60 Hz mode in the respective menu), white balance (auto mode and 5 presets), night and multi-shot (3 or 5 pictures) modes, timer (5, 10 or 15 seconds), black-and-white shooting, negative colour effect shooting, and retro shooting (classic and with the use of green/blue colour). You may switch off the camera shutter sound or choose any 3 sound presets. Digital zooming and exposure levels are set by the arrow up/down and left/right keys respectively and can be monitored by on-display sliders and icons showing all camera settings.
Wentto Pearl combines not only a phone and camera but a webcam as well. Just connect it to your PC via a USB cable included in the package and select the respective mode in the menu to share your video with friends.
Design Features
The speaker is situated in the upper part of the left side of Wentto Pearl with a turn on/off button under it. In the lower part of the side a microSD card slot can be found. By the way, the phone supports memory cards up to 1 GB while the onboard memory is 32 MB. In the middle of the right side of the device there is a camera shutter button with the dedicated music player keys above it. The top of the mobile phone has two elements: a strap eyelet and a narrow red battery cover latch. A mini-USB slot can be seen in the lower part of the device.

Having analyzed functional features of the Wentto Pearl mobile phone, we have come to a conclusion that the manufacturer has designed the device for users who often travel or go on business trips. We can prove our supposition twice:
• The mobile phone has 2 batteries in the package that implies that a user doesn’t always have the opportunity to charge the battery as there is neither mains nor PC nearby (the battery can be charged via the USB cable as well).
• Wentto Pearl works with 2 SIM cards at once. In our view, it is one more feature showing that an uninterrupted connection is of a great value to the user on the go.
