The President of Motorola’s mobile unit resigns. The press release reported that Stu Reed has decided to leave the company by himself.
Previously, Mr. Reed was in charge of the logistics department, which includes procurement management, presentation of the new products, production and warranty liabilities. He correctly built supply schemes, worked with the suppliers and he was able to save substantial funds for the company. In the recent past time, Stu Reed has actively participated in the development of new work strategies for the Motorola’s mobile unit.
Greg Brown, CEO of Motorola, recognizes the merits of Stu Reed and wishes him “the very best in the future."
Nowadays we are witnesses of an active Reformation of the mobile unit. The American manufacturer of phones is changing the direction, restructuring the strategy. At the moment, this is the main concern, this fact was proved through a quite passive participation in major exhibitions such as the Mobile World Congress and CeBIT.
