Bronze Award at the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) 2009, held organization Industrial Designers Society of America, received a smartphone Samsung Social Campaign.
Social Campaign is a smartphone without a keyboard, featuring a large touch screen. The main feature of this model is personaling replacement rear panel, through which the owners of the device will be able to celebrate their participation in various social programs (assistance for low-income and disabled people, environmental protection).
It is anticipated that the icons and logos on mobile spur others to follow the example of a conscious citizen. At this point, this unit is known very little. Smartphone Samsung Social Campaign is at the stage of concept and is not known whether it created a commercial version.
If Samsung Social Campaign will be widely sold, then surely catch the fancy «green» and philanthropist. The sample shown at the exhibition, is the only developed a prototype device.
