The Finnish company Nokia to update the software for its flagship Nokia N97. Firmware version, depending on the region indicates the number 20.0.019, 20.1.021 and 20.2.019 and carries a lengthy list of significant improvements.
In the new firmware the manufacturer corrected the many mistakes and shortcomings that have plagued the owners of Nokia N97.
List of major changes include:
Seizing the keyboard driver, which provided a support for recognition of a long press.
Music player now displays information in a readable form, and displays information from the MP3 ID3-tags.
Added some widgets that support the social and rich media.
Support kinetic scrolling in user interface and all lists that do not fit entirely on one screen.
Improved driver touch screen, which has now become more responsive to the touch.
Better camera work in photo mode and video.
Client N-Gage is now available in prishivku, thereby saving up to 10 MB of drive C.
Annex Ovi Maps 3.1 is included in the firmware, which saves up to 7 MB of disk space S.
Integrated clients Ovi Contacts and Ovi Store, which also increased the amount of free space on drive C.
Improved synchronization system.
