The world’s leading mobile phones manufacturer published its 4Q report for 2007. The results that the Company obtained in the recent year are contributing to the already high status of this brand. The net profit for the quarter rose up to 44% comparable to the same period of 2006. This contributed to an increase in the annual profits to 67% up or €7,205 million. Nokia managed to sell 133.5 million phones in the quarter and, as the Strategy Analytics predicted - increased its market share to 40%. From the total numbers the N series were shipped in a quantity of 38 million units and the E series handsets reached a 7 million volume. These results are especially impressive comparable to the more modest numbers published by other manufacturers, among which Motorola is expected to announce a losing year.
