Two companies NII Holdings and Motorola are in the market in Latin America the first Android-smartphone that supports Push-to-Talk. Novelty called-Motorola i1.
The apparatus is designed to work in networks iDEN and therefore will be available in Mexico, Brazil and Argentina. Smartphone Motorola i1 running operating system, Android 1.5, and among the rest of the existing iDEN-devices - it has the most attractive design.
Motorola i1 has the following set of technical specifications: 3.1-inch touchscreen display with a resolution HVGA, module Wi-Fi, Google Maps, text input technology Swype, Nextel Live, Opera Mini 5, integration with Facebook, MP3-player and a 5-megapixel camera with flash and memory card slot for MicroSD.
The cost of new items is still unknown.
