Motorola is awaiting restructuring. Existing companies are planning to split into two independent companies, and this must happen at the most until early next year. Division of the company, which deals with mobile devices and solutions for use at home, will receive a new name - Motorola Mobility. A possible title was also: Mobile Devices and Home businesses. But, most likely, the owners felt that it was too long name and have chosen shorter - Motorola Mobility. This company is headed by Sanjay Jha (Sanjay Jha).
The second company will corporate solutions and equipment, it was called - Motorola Solutions. Earlier it was supposed to call it - Enterprise Mobility Solutions and Networks. In the head of this company put Greg Brown (Greg Brown).
In addition to the two separate companies, also agreed to open a subsidiary company called Motorola SpinCo Holdings. Already submitted relevant documents to the Commission on Securities and Exchange Commission USA (US Securities and Exchange Commission).
Manual, Motorola believes that such a division of the company should only improve workflow, as in mobile and in the corporate directions.
