Eastern Market is very different from American and European. We have already talked about the Japanese clamshell smartphones based on Android, and now want to introduce you to another interesting gadget. They recently announced a smartphone called the Infobar C01.
The highlight of the smartphone is its unusual and attention-grabbing design. The device is made in the form factor of the classical candy bar and features a large touch screen with a diagonal of 3.2 inches and a resolution 854h480 pixels, due to what appears highly elongated. Additional attention is attracted by the numeric keypad, which is made in the form of staggered cells. The device is running an operating system Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is equipped with infrared port, which is still widely used in Japan. Unlike most smart phones for the Japanese market, the novelty does not support WiMax and not enclosed in a watertight enclosure.
Buy Infobar C01, residents of Japan, will have from February 3. New products will be available in three color schemes and a limited edition of 1,000 copies.
