In early December, at Kiev in the telecommunications market started the new telecom operator «5G», which provides services in the standard preWiMAX. The operator intends to provide communication services via radio and optical links in Kiev.
«5G» - registered trademark of the Telecom Group "IMC", provides communication services in Kiev and the region since 2004.
In 2010 a group of companies received a license to use the radio frequency resource of Ukraine in the range of 5.25-5.35 GHz and began actively building the radio access network. Coverage of the universal service provider 5G covers the whole of Kyiv and all adjacent areas to the capital city Kiev region.
