The Japanese company Mitsubishi is planning to formally present the giant 149-inch TV in early February at the ISE 2010 exhibition, which this year will be held in Amsterdam.
Novelty is a television panel, made on the basis of organic light emitting diodes (OLED). Its dimensions-1920 x 3264 mm, and its total area is about 6,2 m2, analogues of such dimensions as yet no!
Despite the huge size, even at close range is visible is clear and distinct image transmission. Screen resolution of this OLED TV is 1088 x 640 pixels at a pixel in the step of 3 mm. Brightness is several times higher than the average LCD TV and is 1500 cd/m2.
It is assumed that such devices will find their application in next-generation systems, digital signage panels installed inside the premises.
