LG Electronics was the third with a market share of 10,3% (31,9 million handsets), the fourth position - the U.S. Motorola (13,9 million tubes, 4,5% of the market), and closes the top five leaders of the Swedish-Japanese company Sony Ericsson, handset sales which amounted to 13.4 million units (4.3% market share).
The volume of sales of smartphones in the third quarter broke the mark of 41 million units;-year growth of 12,8%.
In the Gaza smartphones leader again - Nokia, which has taken a 39.3% market share (16.156 million vehicles). Second line rating is Research in Motion (20,8%) with 8.5 million sold devices.
Followed by Apple (7,04 million, 17,1% of the market), HTC (2,6 million, 6,5%) and Samsung (1,3 million, 3,2%). Sales of all other manufacturers of smartphones totaled 5.3 million units.
In Gartner expects that in the fourth quarter implementation phones and smartphones will be accelerated, with growth mainly provide the sale of pipes on the "gray" markets.
