Recently was published the patent of Sony Ericsson related to the cell phone with three input methods. The company proposes to use one keypad integrated in mobile phone and two keypads attached to rotatable flip. The user will be capable to use any of proposed methods when he wants.
The illustrations shows a set of usual phone's keypad, keypad with game's pads and touchscreen surface. In general, the choice of keypads can be arbitrary.
We doubt whether we see something like that in commerce devices, but the idea is very interesting.
